CRITERIA FOR COMBINING OF MASTERS AGE CATEGORY

Subject to a minimum of eight entries, separate races shall be held

for all Masters categories.

 

Where there are fewer than 8 entries, that category shall be

combined with another category, but shall retain its own classification

and medals within that race.

This year, as a trial for the BikeNZ Road & Track Council, we will be calling for volunteers to assist mainly with: driving lead vehicles, Commissaires vehicles, wheel wagons & mechanic and sag wagons; this may include providing a vehicle. We will be aiming to spread duties around as well. As a guide, for every 7-8 riders we will be looking for 1 helper.

Para cycling have advised that hand bikes must have a tall orange flag.  We will be also insisting that every hand bike will have their own support vehicle which will, for safety reasons, be behind each hand bike on the road.
