Submissions for inclusion on the Ramblers' Web Site

If you have found any errors or out of date information on this web site, please advise these to the web site editor at webeditor@ramblers.co.nz

For inclusion on the web site, all submissions must be in a digital format. Hard copy cannot be accepted.

All web site submissions will also be considered for inclusion in the Club newsletter.

Anyone who wishes to submit news, articles or photos to be considered for inclusion on the Ramblers' web site, please feel free to e-mail them to webeditor@ramblers.co.nz and ensure that the following guidelines are met:

Photos (in general): jpg or jpeg format.

Do not send photos included in a document. If they are submitted in this form, they will be rejected.

Photos for the photo gallery: Please ensure every photo submitted has a unique name with the date taken included in the file name e.g. Photo11-06-02.jpg

Maps and Diagrams: gif or jpeg format.

If a diagram doesn't have much colour, submit it in .gif format. Otherwise, please send it in .jpg.

Text and articles: Please send in plain txt (.txt).

Articles with lots of formatting (underlining, bold, different coloured text, tabbing etc) takes a while to put into html format so please don't make the page too complicated. If your article is complicated, please print a copy of the document and mail it to the Webmaster, C/- Ramblers, P O Box 7204, Taradale so he can see how you would like it displayed on the web site.

Any photos for inclusion in an article are to be submitted separately as above.

Tables: Tables of results are not easy to convert into html cleanly. If you do have time trial results etc in columns, please submit them in Excel format.
