E grade report
Initially, E grade rode single file at 'pedestrian pace' along Dartmoor Road. However, when the bunch hit the first Apley Road climb, 7 riders dropped the hammer, making a decisive break.
The second Apley hill took it's toll on two of the seven. This left Fraser Marett, David McCallum, Angus Fuhrer, Ingrid Perois and points leader Lindsay Sheppard out front to attack Glengarry Hill.
Angus broke away from Fraser and David on the downhill, but it didn't last long before they gathered him back in. Unfortunately, Lindsay and Ingrid couldn't match this pace and they were left in the 'flying trio's' wake.
In Puketapu Road, only Fraser and David remained to fight it out. Fraser used the last hill to attack, gaining a minute+ at the finish over David.
E grade ride of the day would have to go to Angus Fuhrer. He gained 3rd place in this, his first E Grade race.
Well done Angus!

C grader Bruce Heron's time was only 2 minutes slower than B grade winner Jason Stent!
