Thursday night Dump Block ITT

A superb ride by Sean Joyce breaking 23mins at an average speed of 46.2km/hr was the highlight of tonight’s ITT.
This is the first time that 23mins has been broken on this circuit for many years.
Fraser Gough was close to this mark too, in fact, it was a night of fast times!
The forecast thunderstorms held off for the 45 riders and warm fine conditions prevailed.
Bret Harte was another to have a strong ride, whilst Carolyn Foote broke the 34km/hr average speed for the very first time.
In the 'battle of the Hub Cycle Centre', Dan Warren edged out Andrew Townsend by .03s .

There were a number of visitors, of which Craig Hill riding a recumbent bike recorded a good time.
Jo Aplin also gave the TT a go. She put in a very good time for a 'first up' attempt. Well done.
