Warm fine conditions with a moderate easterly greeted the 31 competitors. Strong rides were shown by a number of riders.
Duncan MacKenzie recorded the night's fastest time in his comeback ride after his 'off' at the Hub Tour.
Dan Warren showed his skills again with a second place.
Fraser Gough, who handicapped himself by riding a fixed gear following a day of hard track training in Wanganui recorded third place.
Markus Mutscheller recorded a PB, edging closer to his top speed goal (and a new bike?).
Bruce Galloway, Laura Harris and Carolyn Foote also rode well.
