Twenty riders of true spirit contested, with ardent fervour, the Thursday evening Ohiti Road ITT on 21st January in humid and breezy conditions.

There was no need for schlieren photography to see the pressure waves generated by Fraser Gough, as he obliterated the course record to win from Andrew Townsend with Brett Harte in third.
Gough, with a time of 23'57" achieved an average speed of 45.09kph over the 18km course.
